is head-to-head each week vs a single opponent, with a 'win' given
to the better team, and standings based on win-loss records.
This usually involves divisional play and a play-off system during
the last several weeks of the NHL season. Scoring can be done
in a variety of ways: |
Fantasy
Style - Platinum Service
Points are awarded for player performance
(such as 4 per goal, 2 for an assist, etc) and simply accumulated,
with the team scoring the most points for the week given the win.

Rotisserie Style - Platinum
Service
Gaining in popularity is a style of play which
is based on Rotisserie style, except that head-to-head games are played
each week and wins are counted as a rotisserie category. |
Category
Comparison - Premium Service
In this style of play, opponent's performances
in a variety of categories are compared, with the better team scoring
a given number of points for winning a category. |
Combination
Comparison and Fantasy Style - Premium
Service
In this style, teams are compared in certain
categories and points awarded (2 points for most saves, for example),
but teams also accrue bonus points for individual performance (2 points
for a shutout performance, for example). |
